The Big T-W-O

We had a quiet birthday for K (compared to her first) and celebrated mostly on Saturday. She got her first haircut at a place called Sweet & Sassy which is a completely over-the-top salon for little girls that kind of creeps me out but she had a lot of fun looking around and dancing down the catwalk. We did some shopping and playing on the playground at Firewheel before heading to The Gentle Zoo. It's a neat place where the animals are rescued and you can go in and feed and pet them. We stayed on the outside for the most part because some of the animals were a little too eager for food (read: kept knocking us over). After lunch on Sunday we had the cake Kiersyn picked out. After all the fun and sugar she was very upset this morning to hear that her "Bursday" was over.

Little Librarian

We have been making the rounds at local Dallas and Mesquite libraries for storytime - which really means a lot of music, dancing, playing and crafts. Kiersyn loves it and asks every morning if we are going!
