Kiersyn had ear tubes put in and her adenoids removed on the 18th... the surgery itself went really well ...aside from the part when they had to take her back. She slept most of the day and the next day you would never have known anything ever happened. She was running around and playing... on day 3 she started to get irritable and couldn't sleep at ALL ...by day 4 she was absolutely miserable. She ended up needing antibiotics and is now finally coming out the other side. We are so thankful it is over and hopeful it will put in end to the constant fevers and ear infection.
Kiersyn of course came down with a fever and eventual ear infection on Christmas Eve so she wasn't feeling 100% on Christmas day but we still managed to have a pretty wonderful WHITE Christmas! It started raining Christmas morning, slowly turned to snow and by the afternoon everything was covered. We spent actual Christmas with my fam and had Morrow Christmas the weekend after in Austin. Kiersyn really gets the best of both worlds - one Christmas where she is the only grandchild (read: center of attention) and one Christmas where she has lots of cousins to play with!

The last gift - her ipod touch. How many phones can you count?
